A Message from Tia:
I have spent much of my professional life working with women who have experienced past trauma and some who have had years of therapy but still suffer in silence. Many of the women that I have worked with are so busy with the many roles and duties that life can bring that they rarely can find balance or time to care for themselves.
I know as a wife, mother, entrepreneur, survivor of past trauma just how daunting life can be. I also know from my personal and professional experience that sometimes mental health counseling alone is not enough. I believe it is Very Important and Helpful.
My decision to become a registered yoga teacher and incorporate more of a wellness approach emerged as I saw many female clients plateau- reaching mental healh treatment goals and using the tools but still not feeling very well balanced- physically, spiritually and emotionally. As I practiced yoga for over 20 years, I understand the benefits of how yoga can connect mind, body and spirit.
Yoga and Meditation furthers healing on a somatic level.
Yoga and Meditation strengthens the body and mind.
Yoga and Meditation reduces stress and can help one feel more connected spiritually.
Yoga and Meditation can help one feel better balanced and confident.
